Who Should Play
In Hero Rescue, your main objective is to cleverly operate the pin mechanics to orchestrate safe interactions between various hazards like lava, water, and monsters. You must figure out the correct order to pull the pins—perhaps dropping water onto lava to create walkable stone, or triggering traps to eliminate goblins. Open the path to the gold, rescue the princess, and become the ultimate hero of the castle!
How to Play
🔑 Basic Controls
The controls are incredibly straightforward: simply swipe the screen or use your mouse to pull the metal pins or slide the barriers to solve the puzzle! However, you must keep the following mechanics in mind:

Blocking Mechanism: Pins can only be pulled outward from the handle side. If another pin or object is physically blocking the handle, the pin cannot be moved.

Irreversible Action: Once a pin is pulled out, it cannot be put back. Sliding barriers, on the other hand, can usually be moved back and forth.

Other Interactive Elements: As you progress, you'll encounter new objects like ropes—just click or swipe across them to cut them!
💀 Trap Mechanics
The castle is filled with deadly traps. If the hero touches one, he dies, costing you 1 Heart (you have a maximum of 3 Hearts). However, you can use these traps to your advantage to clear the level!

Lava and Water: Touching lava means instant death, and any treasure dropped into it will burn away. But, if you guide water to pour over the lava, it turns into safe, walkable stone. Alternatively, you can drop lava directly onto goblins to incinerate them!

Boulders and Spikes: Being crushed by a boulder or falling onto spikes will result in failure. Yet, you can drop a boulder to bridge a gap or crush spikes, and massive spiked balls can be dropped onto enemies as weapons!

Poison Gas: Green gas will spread through the chamber—sometimes rising, sometimes falling. Use its flow to your advantage to suffocate enemies before you enter the area.
👸 Friends & Foes
Your objectives will change depending on the level. The game is divided into 5-level phases, and the circular icon at the top of the screen displays your current goal:

Get the Treasure: Solve the puzzle to safely drop chests or gold coins to the hero. Don't let them fall into lava, and make sure goblins don't get to them first!

Defeat Enemies: In these levels, you must eliminate all goblins. You can drop a sword for the hero to fight them head-on, or simply crush them using the environment's traps.

Rescue the Princess: The final level of every phase (Level 5) is always a rescue mission. Protect the princess from traps and monsters, and manipulate the environment so the hero can safely reach her side.

Hero Rescue is a physics-based puzzle game. You progress by swiping to pull pins, move barriers, and cut ropes. By doing so, you control elements like water, lava, and boulders to achieve the level's objective—whether that's looting gold, killing goblins, or saving the princess.
You can spend 500 coins to restore a Heart. If you are low on coins, you earn them by clearing levels or by watching a short ad! If a particular level is just too frustrating and draining your lives, you can also watch an ad to temporarily skip it and come back later.
There are two main ways: First, drop a sword to your hero so he can defeat them in close combat. Second, use the castle's traps—drop lava, poison gas, boulders, or spiked balls on their heads. Some levels require you to kill every goblin before you can win!
