Who Should Play
In World Z Defense Zombie Defense, your primary objective is to prevent zombies from reaching and destroying your roadblocks. Deploy soldiers from the armory to various points along the defense line to take down zombies as they approach. Each soldier can only fire in a fixed direction and has limited ammunition; once depleted, they must return to their original position to reload each bullet individually.
If zombies successfully reach the roadblock and begin attacking, the roadblock's health will steadily decrease. Once its health reaches zero, the defense line falls, and the game ends. Therefore, you must strategically position your soldiers, precisely target the zombies' path, and upgrade your troops to increase their damage output to withstand the increasingly powerful zombie hordes.
How to Play
- Players drag soldiers from the armory to deploy behind roadblocks. Once placed, soldiers lock their firing direction and automatically attack zombies along that path, unable to change orientation mid-battle.
- Each soldier has an independent ammunition supply. Upon depletion, they return to their starting position and cannot attack while reloading, requiring planning for fire coverage.
- Zombies reaching the central roadblock will initiate attacks, causing its health bar (the central indicator) to decrease steadily. If the health bar reaches zero, the game ends immediately.
- Rewards earned through combat can unlock soldier slots, upgrade soldiers' damage, firing speed, and reload speed, and increase the roadblock's health to enhance defensive capabilities.
Frequently Asked Questions
As the game progresses, the number of zombies increases, their movement speed and defense improve, and the pressure on your defenses grows. Therefore, upgrading your soldiers and barriers promptly is crucial.
Can reload speed be increased? Soldiers do reload automatically, but only one bullet at a time, making the process relatively slow. You can upgrade soldiers to increase reload speed, shortening this process and enhancing sustained combat capability.
Roadblocks themselves cannot be operated; they rely solely on pre-deployed soldiers to eliminate zombies before they reach the barrier. If zombies have already begun attacking the roadblock, the only solution is to clear the current wave as quickly as possible to prevent the roadblock's health from dropping to zero.
Prioritize upgrading soldiers to ensure swift zombie elimination, reducing the number of enemies reaching your defenses from the outset. Once your attack power sufficiently handles the current wave, then design your defenses to provide a margin of error.
